Reach the Beach Gulf of Mexico Nationals

All Star, Recreation and School cheer and dance teams will be eligible to qualify for the U.S. Finals - an all level world cheer & dance event. All teams placing 1st thru 5th will receive a placement bid. Paid Registration bids may also be awarded. once qualified for the U.S. Finals, the Executive Director of the U.S. Finals will email a registration package to corresponding coaches.

Registration Fees:

$55.00 per participant on or before January 21, 2010
$60.00 per participant on or before February 11, 2010

$65.00 per participant after February 11, 2010
$30.00 per cross over
*New this season, No Spectator fees at this and other select events!

Registration Deadline: February 25, 2010

Additional Dance Team Performance Fees:
$20.00 per participant for one additional performance
$40.00 per participant for two additional performances
$55.00 per participant for three or more additional performances

Awards and Giveaways:

All Participants will receive a Reach the Beach Nationals Beach Bag.

All teams will receive a team trophy!

All division winners will receive a National Championship Banner.
All division winners will receive National Champion Hoodies.
$1,000 awarded to Highest Scoring team of the day!
U.S. Finals bids awarded to qualifying teams!
*Please note: ACDA reserves the right to combine categories when awarding prize money and is dependent upon team registration. Prize money will only be awarded if a minimum number of team registration is met, at the discretion of ACDA.

Partner Stunts / Dance Ensembles / Individuals:
All cheerleaders and dancers are welcome to showcase their talent and WOW the crowd with their individual expertise. Individual and partner stunt groups are always welcome to attend an ACDA event even if thier team is not registered. Download the proper registration forms and mail or fax them into our office before the registration deadline.

Partner Stunt, Dance Ensembles & Individuals Fees:
$150.00 per partner stunt/dance ensemble group
$65.00 per individual performance

Jump & Tumble Off:
ACDA may or may not offer a Jump & Tumble Off contest at this event. All participants are welcome to participate. First thru third place participants in each age division will be awarded medals. Jump off participants will be judged on three of their best jumps (may be a variety of jumps.) Tumble off participants will be judged on their best tumbling pass. Jump series and tumbling pass will be performed on a single strip standard foam mat. Registration for Jump & Tumble Off will take place at event.

Jump & Tumble Off Participant Fee:
$10.00 per participant for one event
$15.00 per participant for both events

From Houston:

Take Interstate 45 South to Galveston.
Take the 61st Street Exit and turn right on 61st Street.
Stay on 61st Street to Seawall Boulevard.
Turn left at Seawall Boulevard.
The San Luis Resort is located on the left at 53rd Street and Seawall Boulevard.

Vendors:

New in 2009-2010! Introducing the debut of BeachCheer.com - a new line of Beach apparel! Swimwear, beach accessories, sun dresses, event tees, shorts, hoodies, bags and more will be available for all of your cheer & dance apparel needs.

A variety of vendors including video, photography, flowers, and concessions may also be on site.

Things to Do:

Sea Turtle Tours: Discover different types of sea turtles and view more than 600 living turtles in their saltwater tanks.
Lone Star Flight Museum: This museum offers a great collection of restored aircraft from World War II, along with photographs and artifacts.
Galveston Island State Park: This park is the perfect place to enjoy nature, swimming, walking trails, fishing and more!
Texas Seaport Museum & Elissa: The Elissa was a Scottish sailing vessel built in 1877. The museum offers an assortment of maritime exhibits and two screens that show exciting sea films throughout the day.
Stewart Beach Park: Enjoy the children's playground, volleyball courts, souvenir shops and outdoor pavillion, perfect for a day at the beach.
